CEC Crews Working to Restore Power
Strong winds, lightning and heavy downpours caused widespread power outages for approximately 1,600 Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) members at the height of the storm. As of 9:30 am today, approximately 700 members remain in the dark through out its service territory.
CEC crews will continue to work throughout the day and anticipate complete restoration by early evening.
Members should report outages by calling 1-800-282-8610. The cooperative thanks members for their patience during restoration efforts.
Remember to stay away from downed power lines and report them to your electric utility.
