Change to Rate Structure

A new rate structure takes effect Sept. 1, 2019.

The base charge, or fixed cost for service, will increase. This increase will be offset by a decrease in the variable price per kilowatt-hour (kWh). The increased base charge will help the cooperative to more fairly distribute fixed expenses among the membership. For residential members consuming more than 200 kWh per month, there will be no change to the bill amount.

Visit our bill calculators to compare the new and old rate structures for all rate types.
