CEC is happy to announce that we are inviting members to attend the Annual Meeting in person once again! However, our board of directors and CEC staff have decided to change the format of the Annual Meeting. Historically, the Annual Meeting allowed for a business meeting and time for fellowship on the same day. Now, we will separate these components and host two events.

In 2023, we will host the Annual Business Meeting at AC Valley High School on Aug. 10. Next year, we will host both the Annual Business Meeting and a Member Appreciation Event. The Member Appreciation Event will take place at CEC’s headquarters in Parker. More details on the Member Appreciation event will be released as they become available. For more information on the event format changes, we invite you to read the article in June’s Power Lines.

Attendees of the Annual Business meeting can expect official election results, remarks from our CEO and General Manager, Matt Boshaw, a question-and-answer session, and educational information. Because this is a standard business meeting, it is not intended for children. Doors will open at 5:00 and the meeting will begin at 6:00. The meeting will be held in the gymnasium and will be lived-streamed in the air-conditioned cafeteria. Light refreshments will be available.

Members in attendance will be entered to win door prizes. Door prizes include six fifty-dollar bill credits and one, one-hundred-dollar bill credit!

If you have any questions you’d like addressed at the annual business meeting, please share your question  with CEC before Aug 9th.

CEC is excited to host in-person events once again for our members. We look forward to seeing you at the new Annual Business Meeting this summer.
