High School Juniors: Apply for a Free Trip to Washington, D.C.!

Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) is seeking high school juniors who are interested in participating in Youth Tour! This program offers a once-in-a-lifetime, all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. from June 15 to 20, 2026. 

Imagine spending a week exploring iconic landmarks including the Pentagon Memorial, the Holocaust Museum, the Smithsonian museums, and the Air & Space Museums. Cruise along the Potomac River at sunset, catch a live show at the Kennedy Center, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Youth Tour also takes you to Capitol Hill, where you’ll tour the Capitol Building and meet your elected representatives. It’s your chance to ask questions, discuss issues that matter to your community, and see how government works up close.

Who can apply? High school juniors living in homes that are serviced by CEC which includes children and grandchildren of members.
