Meet CEC's 2026 Director Candidates
Central Electric Cooperative announces the candidates eligible for election to its Board of Directors. Candidate biographies can be seen below and in the July issue of the Power Lines newsletter. Voting starts on July 1, 2026 and end August 5, 2026. Ballots will be mailed to members in July and voting will also be available on CEC's website. Election results will be presented at the Annual Business Meeting on Wednesday, August 5, and published on CEC's website.
2026 Director Candidates
Mark Greiner of Butler
Mark Greiner Biography
Mr. Greiner has been a member of CEC since 2016. He is currently employed with WoodmenLife and has spent the past five years in the insurance industry, assisting individuals and families in the Butler, Pennsylvania area in finding plans that best meet their needs. He is a graduate of Refrigeration School Inc. in Arizona and later earned an associate’s degree in theology from Christ for the Nations in Texas. Actively involved in the Butler community, Mr. Greiner serves with the Butler Chamber of Commerce, Knoch Wrestling Boosters, and the Saxonburg Area Business Association. He is also a member of Butler’s WoodmenLife fraternal organization.
Tim Edmonds of Chicora
Tim Edmonds Biography
Mr. Edmonds has been a CEC member since 2000. He retired from General Logistics Systems North America, Inc., where he served as Vice President of Contractor Relations for two years, following a distinguished 30 year career with FedEx. He completed coursework in Business, Psychology, Economics, and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin and later pursued engineering studies at Moraine Park Technical College. He then earned a Master’s Certificate in Building Strategic Business Skills from Duquesne University. He has demonstrated long-standing leadership, having served for ten years on the Board of Directors of the Oshkosh B’Gosh Credit Union, through 1989. He also served on CEC’s Member Aware Advisory Committee (MAAC) for the 2024-2025 term.
Todd Shingleton of Slippery Rock
Todd Shingleton Biography
Mr. Shingleton has been a member of CEC since 1985. Prior to his retirement, he spent 40 years with Wabtec (Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation), where he served as Corporate Vice President of Global Security and worked extensively in Corporate Environmental Health and Safety. His career responsibilities included labor relations, workers’ compensation, mergers and acquisitions, and employee relations. His five years of service in U.S. Coast Guard Aviation laid the foundation for a successful career in safety, management, and business leadership. In addition to his corporate experience, he is an entrepreneur who founded two local businesses: Playthings Etc. and T2 Boats LLC.
Nancy Lendyak of East Brady
Nancy Lendyak Biography
Mrs. Lendyak has been a CEC member since 1978 and was elected to the board in 2014. In August 2022 she earned her Director Gold Credentials. Mrs. Lendyak has a Master’s Equivalency from Clarion University. She is a retired Karns City teacher. She serves as a Griffith Morgan Scholarship Trustee, and volunteers for the Red Cross, National Park Service/President’s Park, Sugarcreek Township VFD Auxiliary, Karns City Communities That Care, Audubon Society. She served as a Clarion University Alumni Board director. Mrs. Lendyak is an elder at St. Paul’s Community Church. She and her husband, Tom, reside in Armstrong County. They have three children and eight grandchildren.
