Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) implemented a feature to keep members informed of peak energy levels. CEC’s home page will now have a Peak Alert Meter. This meter depicts the levels of energy demands. As an example, if the meter is in the yellow or warning level, CEC is approaching a peak alert. See below for the three different levels of energy demands.

Your cooperative is currently experiencing normal energy demand. No special energy saving measures are necessary.
Status: Warning
Your cooperative is currently experiencing elevated energy demand. Special energy saving measures may be necessary in the near future.
Status: Critical
Your cooperative is currently experiencing peak energy demand. Please save energy wherever possible.
