Mr. Shingleton has been a member of the CEC since 1985. Prior to his retirement, he spent 40 years with Wabtec (Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation), where he served as Corporate Vice President of Global Security and worked extensively in Corporate Environmental Health and Safety.

His career responsibilities included labor relations, workers’ compensation, mergers and acquisitions, and employee relations. His five years of service in U.S. Coast Guard Aviation laid the foundation for a successful career in safety, management, and business leadership. In addition to his corporate experience, he is an entrepreneur who founded two local businesses: Playthings Etc. and T2 Boats LLC
