Weekend Outage Restoration Efforts

Saturday | July 4, 2026

PARKER, Pa., July 4, 2026 - On Friday, July 3, a significant evening storm passed through CEC’s service territory. The storm moved in quickly and caused widespread damage across our system, including many trees down.

As of 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, approximately 1900 CEC members remain without electricity.

CEC, and additional crews, will continue to work safely and efficiently around the clock this weekend to restore power. Individual restoration times may vary depending on the extent of damage identified when crews arrive on site.

Additional storms are anticipated this holiday weekend, and members are encouraged to keep outage safety top of mind. CEC thanks all members for their continued patience and understanding as restoration efforts continue.
