Support America's Electric Cooperatives

Wednesday | May 20, 2026

CEC is committed to providing our members with reliable, reasonably priced electricity while supporting the rural communities we serve. While many cooperative decisions are made locally, policies that impact electric co-ops are often decided by legislators in Harrisburg and Washington, D.C.

That's why advocacy and member engagement matters.

Give Electric Cooperatives a Strong Voice

America's Electric Cooperatives Political Action Committee (PAC) is a non-partisan committee founded in 1966. The PAC educates and supports policymakers who understand and appreciate the role that electric cooperatives play in their communities.

PAC advocacy helps prioritize cooperative concerns when decisions are made that affect electric rates, energy reliability, infrastructure investment, and rural development. The committee gives electric cooperatives a strong voice when it matters most.

Easy Ways to Support the PAC

PAC participation is voluntary, made with personal funds, and contributions are flexible. Members may:
