Join Us in Thanking Our Linemen
Central Electric Cooperative knows that line workers bring the light to our homes and communities. They work all hours of the day, often sacrificing time with their families to go above and beyond to restore power to our communities.
Throughout their careers, linemen spend thousands of hours training, mastering the complexity of the electric grid. Climbing utility poles, while carrying at least 40 pounds of equipment, is just one of many physical challenges they face. To be a lineman requires resilience, adaptability, and the ability to expect the unexpected. They are the ones working tirelessly to fix and maintain the infrastructure that provides us with the electricity we can take for granted. If the power is on wherever you may be, you likely have a lineman to thank.
On Lineman Appreciation Day, April 18th, join us in taking a moment to express gratitude to these everyday heroes. #thankAlineworker
